to the Joseon dynasty. Then enjoy some free time for shopping at
Myeongdong Market – one of the most vibrant and diverse market
in Seoul. (B, L, D)

After breakfast, drive towards the west of Tokyo and proceed to
the Hakone region. Along the way, enjoy the changing scenery,
from thick vegetation to lowlands and rolling clouds. Enjoy a

panoramic ropeway to the observation deck to admire the world’s
famous peak, Mt. Fuji, which is considered the country’s symbol
(depending on weather conditions). (B, L, D)

Today visit ‘The Korean Demilitarized Zone’ (DMZ) on the border of
South and North Korea. It’s a weapons-free buffer zone between
North and South Korea, a 2-kilometer-wide demilitarized zone on
each side where we will visit Imjingak Park, Dora Observatory and

6 Osaka – Kyoto – Osaka
Today, we drive to Kyoto, the former capital of Japan, which
holds priceless historical values. We will first visit Arashiyama
Bamboo Grove – one of Kyoto’s top sights– for a good reason:
standing amid these soaring stalks of bamboo is like being in
another world. Make your way to the Kinkakuji Temple – the
famed “Golden Pavilion” is Kyoto’s most iconic sight known for its
two top floors covered entirely in 18–carat gold leaves. Finally,
we stop at the Fushimi–Inari–Taisha Shrine, the most important
shrine in the entire city, before we drive back to Osaka. (B, L, D)

After breakfast, we travel to Nara, where we will go to the Todaiji
Temple, the largest wooden building in Japan. The temple also
houses one of the largest bronze statues of Buddha at 16.3 meters

1,000 Sika Deer. After lunch, drive back to Osaka for an orientation
